  • The below volunteer roles: 
    New Committee members – Mark C, Dawid, Roy, Paul S, Niki, Rose, Terry & Julie.
    1) Vice Chair – this will be put to vote by a EAGM

    2) Site Shop -

    3) Facebook Group – Dawid,

    4) Gmail Account -

    5) Website -The committee could also consider whether it needs a website.- Dawid

    6) Gate Padlocks and Pest control. – Paul S

    7) National Allotment Society Group –

    8) Social Events – Rose, Niki

  • Matters arising. 
    1. Gates – no issues reported but I will change the locks
    2. Lettings update – Celia has update the list and 133 on the waiting list. With certain highlighted names who still want a plot
    3. Treasurer's Report - Report Available on Request

    4. Pond Update 

      Spoke to Liz this week and she has informed me that the pond work should be starting in the next 2 months she is just awaiting on a digger contractor for dates. The digger is being use for the pathways. Volunteers will be bought in by Cardiff council to help with the work

  • Any other business 
    1. Key for South Wales Police – SWP has now go a key and paid a deposit.
    2. I have reported the road by main entrance due to the wet weather coming in and awaiting a response from Celia.
    3. I have reported the dead tree between one of the plot and Costco. To Cardiff Council and awaiting for the estate team to come back to us.
    4. Roy asked about if one person gave up a plot how would he go about getting another plot. – by going on the waiting list. Then asked how can one person get another plot on site a joint tenancy can.
    5. Dawid – made a complaint about a complaint over a year ago. A resolution was put in place but no response given by GM. Complaints need to be acknowledged at a faster place. Apology given by GM.
    6. Minutes need to more transparent and accurate.
    7. Communal plots – committee members keep this but volunteers are required.
    8. Business plan – Dawid would like a business / purpose.
    9. Community involvement, new letters, email votes on issues,
    10. Paul S – Has volunteered to top up sanitary supplies.
    11. Peter S will contact Simon to rearrange a visit.
    12. Fly tipping is on going issue on site.
    13. Social Events – Rose will carry on with book events
